Erol Akbay, the coach for Bulawayo side Highlanders, was clearly unimpressed by the standard of refereeing in his team’s 2-0 to ZPC Kariba. Akaby pointed the finger at referee Nomore Musundire, choosing to blame him for the loss. Speaking after the game, Akbay said:
The referee was biased. I don’t know why the PSL is leaving this kind of officiating ,we played poorly but the officiating was poor as well.
Erol Akbay is the current head coach of Highlanders FC which plays in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League. Akbay is known for his excellent qualifications in club development and has great experience in grooming players.
